Preeti
Das, Senior Vice President, Birlasoft, heads the Insurance Practice
for the company. She is responsible for positioning Birlasoft as the
preferred long term partner to the Insurance industry and her key
areas of responsibilities include Sales & Marketing, M&A,
Partnership & Alliances, Domain Competency and Relationship building.
Preeti has 25 years of experience and has worked with large organizations
in Insurance and Technology Industry including Oracle Financial Services
Software, i-flex, Microsoft, ICICI Lombard General Insurance and New
India Assurance. With a decade of experience in a variety of core
insurance functions including Underwriting, Claims and Reinsurance
in Property & Casualty Industry, she has held key positions of
responsibility in various companies. Preeti has handled acquisitions
and organic growth and has knowledge and experience of creating, marketing
and growing both Insurance Software Products and Consulting Services
business in North Americas, Asia Pacific, South Africa and UK. A noted
speaker, she has participated in many panel discussions on technology
challenges in Insurance industry.
Preeti has been recognized in Microsoft, Oracle Financial Services
Software, ICICI Lombard and New India Assurance for contribution to
Growth and Enterprise Positioning.
A Post Graduate in Electronics, she has an Associate qualification
from the Insurance Institute of India. She is also a Life Member of
Insurance Institute of India. |
