Sanjay Gupta, Head – Global Delivery, Birlasoft, joins us from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where he has spent over 25 years. During this period, Sanjay has handled various portfolios covering delivery and business development across IT, IS and BPO/KPO business streams.

Sanjay was heading TCS’ Life Sciences and Healthcare business in Europe in the capacity of the P&L owner. Prior to this, Sanjay was heading a large delivery center in Noida, India and was responsible for the Pharma and Healthcare sector for North India. Sanjay has also lead TCS' operations in Singapore and other countries in Asia Pacific region.

Sanjay has been credited for successfully winning many quality certifications and awards like ISO9001, CMMI and PCMM Level 5, ISO14001, BS7799, and Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award for his center.

Sanjay did his M. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1983.

Sanjay has also been actively involved with CII and many educational institutes. He was Vice Chairman, Technical Education and Training Sub-Committee in CII Northern Region until last year. He was also the Chairman – CII Western UP the year before.

Sanjay is also a keen Table Tennis and Golf player.
