The award, given by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) with the objective to foster technological innovation based on innovative science, recognizes KPIT Cummins' commitment towards building sustainable automotive solutions of tomorrow.
Revolo is a plug-in parallel hybrid solution that converts gasoline-powered vehicles into a hybrid within four to six hours, thereby enhancing fuel efficiency by 35% and reducing Green House Gas (GHG) emissions by over 30%. The solution comprises an electric motor, electronic motor controller, a battery pack, software for controlling the motor and batteries, and a battery management system.
