Selva is a seasoned leader with over 29 years of experience in the IT industry and has managed customers across the globe. As COO Selva is responsible for improving organizational operational efficiency, helping drive sustainable growth. He works closely with the leadership team on transformation initiatives with the aim to enhance customer-centricity. Selva manages Global Delivery, Service Lines, Business Excellence, CIO, and CISO functions.

Prior to joining Birlasoft, Selva was the Delivery Head of BFSI-Americas (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) at Cognizant Technology Solutions. In his 21 years journey at Cognizant, he played multiple roles including COO of many large units and drove various strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Cognizant, he worked in the US for around 6.5 years and 1.5 years in India.

Selva completed his Masters in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai (India) and Masters in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management, Chicago (U.S.A). Selva is also a Global Doctorate in Business Management from Swiss School of Business Management, Geneva (Switzerland).

Selva has a keen interest in Sports and is also involved in many philanthropic initiatives. He is a certified Project Management Professional, Six Sigma Black Belt professional, lean Six Sigma coach & published/ presented several research papers in International Conferences and journals.
